APPRAISER: Right.
GUEST: Pickups are original.
APPRAISER: Neck date, October '64.
Back of the neck, also refinished.
L-series serial number, which is '64 to '66.
This guitar would probably retail for 15 grand, maybe $17,500.
Uh, and if you hadn't refinished it...
GUEST: Yeah APPRAISER: ... 'Cause you didn't know, You didn't know any better, did you?
No one did back then.
GUEST: No one wanted a Stratocaster.
APPRAISER: Uh, it would be $25,000 to $30,000, but it's still...
Uh, it's still more than you paid for it?
GUEST: Could be.
APPRAISER: Yes?
Okay.

GUEST: So, I think two, under $250.
