(laughs) GUEST: Got it right.
APPRAISER: See how heavy it is.
GUEST: It sure is.
APPRAISER: All right.
And, and you acquired it-- how, wh, what's the story?
GUEST: Through my father.
Yeah.
He was, uh, born and raised in Alabama.
Gonna cry.
(laughs) (crying): This is my grandmother's... APPRAISER: Aw, aw.
GUEST: ...sewing machine.
He... APPRAISER: And she used it.
GUEST: She did, yeah, yeah.
APPRAISER: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, let's, let's take a look at it.
GUEST: Let's do it.
APPRAISER: Okay, so, Singer sewing machine, a German company who imported thousands of these into, into the country, and they were a real staple in a home during the turn of the last century.
And it's in great condition.
You can find the machines themselves for $100, $150.
GUEST: For just the machine, separate from... APPRAISER: Just the machine, right.
And then when you're looking at the, the furniture itself, if I were in a shop, I would add maybe another $300, $400 for it.
GUEST: Yeah.
APPRAISER: So somewhere around $500...
GUEST: Wow.
APPRAISER: ...for the whole, full package.
GUEST: Yeah, so, that's great.
Thank you so much.
(crying) APPRAISER: Aw.
