We're making our way through the quarterfinal round.
Two teams have already made their way to the semis.
We've got two more teams this week hoping to do the very same thing.
Let's introduce them to you, shall we?
First up, we have the team from Bow High School.
They're led by senior Captain Alessandra.
And it says here that you had an unfortunate event on a golf course.
I did.
Yeah.
So I used to work at a golf course, a golf camp in the summer.
And when I didn't let one kid hit first, he hit me with his golf club.
It was a brutal attack.
Okay, What was the club that he hit you with?
You remember?
I don't know.
It was an iron.
So.
So about the worst.
Are you okay now?
I am.
Okay.
All right, Good.
All right.
Alessandra is joined by Logan, also a senior who almost did not make it through the first year of preschool.
How come?
Yeah.
So my parents didn't always prioritize the important things in life and forgot to teach me my nursery rhymes.
Oh, so you didn't know the nursery rhyme, so they were going to hold you back?
Yeah.
The preschool teacher advised that I maybe take an extra year to figure it out.
Learn your nursery rhyme.
Yeah, I do know them now.
I do.
Okay, good.
So there you go.
So there's hope for us all.
Logan is joined by senior Emily and Emily.
Whenever you go to the airport, what do you bring with you?
Yes, I always bring a couple of cat treats.
Okay.
Why is that?
Well, so they have in the hangar where the planes are.
They have a couple of hanger cats.
And one of them, her name is Squeak.
She's a rescue.
And she will follow you into the airplane and not leave unless you feed her.
So I just come prepared.
So you go to the hangar to get in the airplane yourself to pilot?
Yes, I do fly.
That is pretty amazing.
And in and of itself.
Emily is joined by senior Theodore, who has another preschool story, but a slightly different one.
