Students will answer the questions: What is DNA? What does DNA look like? How is it made?

This lesson builds off of Mrs. Whitley’s “Let’s Take a Cell-fie” lesson. After a brief review of the different parts of a cell and their jobs, we focus our attention more closely on DNA. Students will focus on answering the following questions: What is DNA? What does DNA look like? How is DNA made? How does DNA work? And, lastly, why is studying DNA important?
