If that includes you, you can still check to see if your ballot was counted.
The state makes the entire process easy to do.
Head to VOTEWA.GOV, there enter your first and last name, then your date of birth to check the status of your ballot.
Or another way to receive ballot updates is via text message.
Text the word vote to 868392 to see the latest on your ballot, right on your cell phone.
The Secretary of State's office says those text updates will show if your ballot was received, accepted or challenged.
If challenged, it will provide instructions on how to fix a mismatched or missing signature.
According to the University of Washington Elections Database Washington elections between 2020 and 2024 one out of every 62 ballots cast were challenged for a missing or mismatched signature.
More than half of those were fixed before results became final.
King County election officials urged voters to track their ballots by signing up online on the county's elections website.
So it's great for peace of mind and it's great for security.
If you're curious about how the state is faring on voter participation, you can go to the Secretary of State's Office SOS SOS.WA.GOV and click on elections on the top taskbar.
On the left side, select info for voters.
Next time we're taking a deeper look into the money moving through this year's election.
