Operation Migration's Brooke Pennypacker looks over endangered whooping cranes.

Operation Migration's Brooke Pennypacker takes us to the whooping crane pen at the St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge. Operation Migration raises cranes in captivity and guides them to wintering grounds, from where they migrate north on their own. Brooke is involved with the chicks from when they hatch. His duties include piloting, becoming a "swamp monster," and light alligator wrestling.
