I've made kitchri and stew chicken.
Thinking of comfort, automatically I go straight to my grandmother.
My grandmother is 88 and she's going through the stages of Alzheimer's.
Thank you.
So what I've served to you in a bowl is a hug from my grandmother.
Well, darn, why do you have to bring up grandmothers?
I can't help but think about mine and mines not doing so well right now But she's still here.
And even if shes not here fully, we still have our memories.
And our food memories is how we keep it going and what we're doing right now and how we're talking about the people we love.
Is so important.
And I didn't plan on crying today, but I'm going to tell you a little bit about the food.
Sorry.
As soon as one of them go and come back to me.
I feel the love in this dish.
It's warm from the spices.
It's very well seasoned.
And you wanted us to get to know your grandmother, to get to know you.
And I think you were really successful with that.
Yeah Leah, I think you're right.
It felt very comforting.
Overall, this is a very good dish.
Thank you.
I am so happy and proud that I was able to celebrate my grandmother and that the judges liked my dish.
