AS I CONTINUE TO DIG DEEPER INTO MY CELTIC ROOTS ON THIS "BARE FEET" DNA ADVENTURE, I HEAD TO THE SOUTHWESTERN COAST OF THE ISLAND TO THE RUGGED AND BEAUTIFUL WILD ATLANTIC WAY.
THE DINGLE PENINSULA IS IN COUNTY KERRY AND JUTS OUT INTO THE ATLANTIC OCEAN WITH DRAMATIC CLIFFS AND SANDY BEACHES.
INCH BEACH IS KNOWN FOR ITS SURFING, WITH A TIDE THAT GOES OUT FOR MILES.
COVERED WITH THE ICONIC GREEN ROLLING HILLS OF THIS LAND, THE DINGLE PENINSULA IS A HIDEAWAY FROM THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WITH A STRONG SENSE OF IRISH IDENTITY, STILL KEEPING THE IRISH LANGUAGE VERY MUCH ALIVE.
WELCOME TO THE DINGLE PENINSULA, ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLACES HERE IN THE COUNTRY OF IRELAND.
