Well, as you probably have seen, I really wanted to show the complete and tell the complete story of Aretha Franklin because, you know, in the first half, you know, she was doing those jazz standards.
Of course, her gospel album, which was her number-one-selling album to this day, it's hard to believe.
My mom, I have so many amazing memories of my mom and dad, us going to church and playing that Amazing Grace album.
So I know it backwards and forwards.
But I also want to show when she was into the movie soundtrack and- and Curtis Mayfield-- yes, somebody knows Curtis out there.
He produced this album of hers from the motion picture Sparkle.
And this is kind of one of those rare songs, but she was kind of in a slump.
And this was the song that brought her back.
This was the album that brought her back to number one.
So here is Sparkle.
