Like, oh, I know your your mom or dad or or your grandma or grandpa.
So, you know,# it's just like a continuation of tribal arts.
My daughter Tatiana kind of grew up, you know, on the#campus.
I was in elementary school at that time and after school I would have to go to the campus, you know, run around studios and whatever.
It was my playground.
My mom was still working when I started my career here at IAIA.
I had a family and my daughter would then, you know, same thing.
She would come to openings and run around or be in my office.
I'm a freshman at IAIA majoring in studio#arts.
I think I really like print making just like my grandma.
I feel like I can talk with her about#my art.
I always get so excited to show her.
Yeah, that one was really fun to do.
I like that one.# -Yeah, that's pretty clean for screen printing.
It's important for me to pass on to young#Native people to be proud of who you are and know your cultural ways and use that to#create 'cause you all you'll always have that.
