This is a true story.
From my family, it appears, in the history of Grafton, New Hampshire.
Medford, my great great grandfather, had a sow.
He lived in Danbury, New Hampshire, and he took that sow across the valley to Grafton, New Hampshire, where his friend Jeff had a farm and a boar, to get the sow bred.
And Jeff said, How come you didn't take that sow to your next door neighbor, George Dean.
He has boar.
You could have got her bred there.
And that's when my great great grandfather, Ned Ford, said, By golly, Jeff, if there was one boar left in the world and one sow and George Dean owned that boar, I guess there would be no more pigs.
