I was the resident engineer in the city on a work that's being done in the city of Nashua.
And the mayor came to me one day and asked if I would be the city engineer and I said yes, basically.
And so I did.
And I found out that the mayor used to work in the post office.
And when I was younger, I used to work on a job near home that took me to the post office.
And I believe that I was visiting them to put on that job the post office a number of times and probably ran into Dennis Sullivan, the mayor, the former, the ultimate mayor at that time.
I tell people when I got through being city engineer, which was in 1996, I became a writer.
And I've written so much that it's crazy.
It's it's so much.
I don't think when I die, there were so many damn books that I wrote in my they'll just throw them out.
And it's funny, I do genealogy and I tell in my own autobiography because my wife asked me to write my obituary because she didn't know how to what to do with it.
I told her, first of all, whether it's how I get to showing all our kids names, which is 11, the column should be filled out.
When we were small, we used to go and pick up newspapers with our wagon and knock on the door and ask the lady there, Do you have any old newspapers?
Are magazines that you want to get rid of?
And usually they'd say yes, and they'd take us in the house and and show us where stuff or the magazines and newspapers were.
And we pick them up to carry'em out put them in a wagon.
And we do that from till the wagon filled up about this high two sides, And then we go off and bring the wagon to the paper, to people who took in papers and pay them.
And they they'd weigh it and they'd give us some money or something like that.
And for them and I guess it's like hunting.
It's not the it's not the kill.
It's so it's it's the travel.
You know, I am very much a recycler.
I always buy a used car and.
I forget some of it.
But anyway, I married a widow.
