My name is Art Kobs I teach and I coach in Nashua.
Well, I just had a birthday.
I turned 73 on Sunday, been married, will be married 50 years in August.
We moved to Nashua in 1974.
So we've been in Nashua since 74, living presently.
My wife and I recently, um, decided to move to Hollis, but for Nashua, it couldn't have asked for anything better.
It was a great community to raise my three boys.
Yeah, I think the issue has been great.
It's been great for me, has been great for my family.
I like the diversity.
I like, um, the people have always been great.
The opportunities in Nashua for for kids growing up, uh, a great the, the sports area is always been very supportive with the new Nashua Art Center.
I'm really excited about what they're going to bring to the downtown area, the educational programs and just the living in Nashua has been great.
The order of of the Hall of Fame.
I'm taking the award, but it represents everyone that I've dealt with, all my coaches that I've been in the past, all my my athletes, that I've had the good fortune to deal with.
And I started coaching in 1979 and I'm still at it.
When I was told I, I was completely overwhelmed, grateful, and just in shock that I would even be considered, uh, along with all the great athletes and coaches that are in the Hall of Fame.
It's just an overwhelming and warm feeling.
You look back upon what you've been able to do.
It's it's just a thrill that you don't get many professions.
So it's, it's been a wonderful whole 40 plus years of coaching.
